Cardboard Boat Regatta

Description: The Cardboard Boat Regatta is a family friendly community event where groups construct and decorate their own life sized-boats built out of cardboard. These boats will be raced in timed heats rowing out and back to and from designated buoys.
The race will take place on August 10th and all boats must be built by then. There will be 6 people in every boat who will work as a team to build and race a boat out of cardboard. YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED YOUR SWIM TEST TO PARTICIPATE!
Please start saving cardboard for this event even if you are not participating.
